Anthony Garnett (Aged 66)
Founder Director

Anthony is the investment director of Mundane he is also a director of the Mundane World Leaders Fund Ltd. He was trained as an investment analyst with Hoare Govett Ltd in 1981. From 1986 he helped establish stockbroking divisions for leading investment banks based in London. He was a director of the investment bank ING Barings, in London, from 1995 to 2001.

Greg Mackay (Aged 65)
Founder Director
Greg is the business manager for Mundane. He started his career in Johannesburg in 1980 and became a member of the JSE in 1984. From 1987 he has worked in London as a director of stockbroking divisions of leading investment banks. He was a director of ING Barings in London from 1995 to 2001.
James Denham (Aged 61)
Non-Executive Chairman
After graduating in Theology in 1986 from Queens' College, Cambridge, James joined the investment manager M&G Group, becoming head of their US equity investment desk in 1993 and a director of M&G Investment Management Ltd the following year. In 1997 he left to join Veritas Asset Management (UK) Ltd as a Director and head up their investment management business. In 2007 he joined Soditic Limited to manage a global equity fund, and James is now Chief Operating Officer of the group's investment management company, Soditic Asset Management LLP. He is a Director of Pacific & General Investments, a trustee of the British registered charity the Endangered Wildlife Trust and Secretary of the OE Racquets & Tennis Club.
Craig Kimber (Aged 63)

Craig qualified as a Chartered Accountant (South Africa) in 1990 completing articles at KPMG Johannesburg and moved to the UK in that year. Prior to joining Mundane Asset Management in 2013, he held various positions in investment banking spanning specialist sales in emerging markets, pan European equity research sales and specialist Swiss equity sales.
Fredrik Karlsson (Aged 51)
Senior Analyst
Fredrik is a CFA charterholder and is the Senior Analyst at Mundane Asset Management having joined in 2004. From 2000 to 2001 he was a research associate of ING Barings covering Industrials in European equity research and from 2001 to 2003 he was vice-president of Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein with the Capital Goods team in European equity research. In 2004 he was an analyst with Rawlinson & Hay in Corporate Finance. He began his career with Matteus Fondkommission AB in Sweden in 1997 before undertaking a M.Sc. at the University of Warwick.
Iain Catterall (Aged 68)
Non-Executive Director
Iain currently serves as a principal and Chief Executive Officer of Kirkham Capital, an investment business focused on seeding fund managers, a position he has held since founding the firm in January 2009. Prior to that, Iain served as the head of equities at Rand Merchant Bank from January 2003 to December 2008 and was also a member of Rand Merchant Bank's management board and investment committee. He was also a founding member of Thynk Capital, a private equity company, and, prior to that, a founding director of Cadiz Holdings Limited, a Johannesburg Stock Exchange listed financial services company. Iain currently serves on the board of Nasdaq quoted New Fortress Energy Inc. Iain holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Natal (Durban). We believe that Iain's extensive experience in capital markets and financial services brings valuable expertise to our board of directors.
Jac Jones (Aged 38)
Analyst/Fund Manager
Jac is a CFA charterholder and joined Mundane Asset Management in 2022. Prior to Mundane, he worked as an Equity analyst at Fidelity International from 2017 and took on some Fund Management responsibilities in 2020. Prior to that he worked as an Equity Analyst at Nomura Asset Management from 2012. He started his career at PwC in 2009 where he qualified as a Chartered Accountant in the Audit department.
Jon Loubser (Aged 37)
Analyst/Fund Manager
Jon is a CFA charterholder and joined Mundane Asset Management in 2022. Prior to Mundane, he worked at the London office of Numis, a renowned UK investment bank. He was initially in the Investment Banking Division from 2011-2014, and then worked as a Director in Equity Sales from 2014-2022. He has a BSc degree in Economics from the University of Nottingham.
